In this research we developed a feeding device when the owner who has a pet fish is not at home for a long period of time. The tool designed and developed is an Arduino-based Automatic Fish Feeder that allows feeding to fish to be done automatically, with the right portion and scheduling that can be set in real time. The benefit of us developing this tool is so as not to let pets starve for long periods of time because it can cause animals to have physical disorders and stress (Overall, 2005). As we know, all animals that are kept or live freely in nature have their rights and freedoms. The research method used for system development is the prototype method. The prototype method is a software development method that allows interaction between system developers and system users, to overcome the incompatibility between developers and users. The LCD that has been programmed works well. However, the date and time are not accurate. This can be solved by re-uploading the program code to update the date and time to be more accurate. During the 1-week test, the amount of feed remained consistent at 5g (grams). It's just that the timekeeping wasn't exactly on target, but it was never outside the 10-minute range. Based on the results in this study, it can be concluded that the Automatic Fish Feeder system is able to function quite well using the system that has been made. It's just that the time shown on the lcd layer is less accurate but the animal feeding scheduling feature is still running well. Development recommendations include adding a new web-based control system that can be done remotely. Another recommendation is to add modes for more specific pet feed needs because each animal has its own dietary habit.
